My name is T.C. Spivey-Hall, and I am so excited to finally be abe to bring the Clarinet Class to your community. I seen so much potential for insane growth and development within your children. I would be an honor to share my love, and passion for my craft with your child/student. My goal is to see to it that my students attain the skills needed to execute a thorough audition for chair placement in their school, community youth ensembles, collegiate auditions, district, and/or all state honor band. Im s grateful to say that every student that successfully completed my class was able to achive their goals

The KLARIGARTEN
The KLARIGARTEN's Presents: "The KLARIGARTEN West Clarinet Class". The ultimate objective of this workshop is adequately prepare the attendees to execute a superior audition according to G.M.E.A. All-State standards. Above all, this course will provide Band Directors with a means to incubate and preserve their Clarinet Sections at an extremely discounted rate.
The Course will be taught by none other than the World Class Clarinetist, Mr."T.C." Spivey-Hall. Mr. Spivey-Hall has had the distinct honor of serving as Clarinet Coach, Woodwind Instructor, and Private Instruction Coordinator-Consultant for many Band Programs in the Metro Atlanta area Southwest DeKalb, Stephenson, Martin Luther King Jr. Miller Grove, Dutchtown, North Atlanta High Scnool, and many more. Mr. Spivey-Hall is widely recognized for his private Clarinet Studio, The KLARIGARTEN Mr. Spivey-Hall has been teaching privately now for well over 20 years, and is happy to say that hes never had one private student not get a scholarship to the school of their choice.
Mr. Spivey-Hall. is a native of Binghamton, New York who relocated to Decatur, Georgia and graduate of Southwest Dekalb High School (1997) and a former student at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. He has approximately thirty years of fine arts experience and twenty two years of teaching experience. He is also a member of Greater Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Spivey-Hall has received professional training from Melanie Driver (DeKalb County Music Educator), Karl Bevin (Former Principal Clarinetist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Atlanta Pops Orchestra 22 years), Alexander Krakowski (Moscow Conservatory Graduate, Former Principal Clarinetist of the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, and Present Clarinet Professor of Georgia State University), Laura Ardan (Julliard School Graduate, Present Principal Clarinetist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for over 20 Years, member of the Atlanta Chamber Society, and Present Professor at Emory University), Ted Gurch (Eastman School Graduate, Present Assistant Principal, Principal E flat Clarinet of the ASO, a member of the Thamyris Wind Quintet, and Present Clarinet Professor at G.S.U. and ASYO Clarinet Coach); and Wallace Clark (Peabody Conservatory and Present Clarinet Professor at FAMU).
T.C. has performed under the baton of Robert Shaw (ASO Eminent Conductor Laureate Emeritus and Grammy Award Winner); Yoel Levi (Conductor of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra); Christopher Seaman (Conductor of the Naples Philharmonic, Baltimore Symphony, and Chief Guest Conductor of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London); Michael Kamen (Composer, Robinhood Prince of Thieves, Brazil, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, and The American Symphony from Mr. Holland's Opus); Mark Watters (Composer, Disney’s Aladdin, The Return of Jafar and Pocohontas etc); Frederick Fennell (World-renowned conductor of the Eastman Wind Ensemble and the Tokyo Kosei Wind Symphony); Elliot DeBorgo (Wind Band Composer i.e. Music for Winds and Percussion, Do Not Go Gentle, and Symphonic Paraphrase); Ray Cramer (Director of Bands of Indiana University); Eugene Corporon (Director of Bands at North Texas); Gary Green (Director of Bands at University of Miami); Dr. William P. Foster (Eminent Director of Bands of the world famous FAMU “Marching 100” for 52 years); Col. Arnald D. Gabriel (Air Force Band Conductor), Dr. Thomas Lee (Director of Bands at UCLA), Jerry Junkin (Dallas Wind Symphony), Alfred Watkins (Cobb Wind Symphony), and many more.
Furthermore, Mr. Spivey-Hall has worked with The Original Battle of the Bands and Jamboree as the Band Coordinator, Precision Summer Band Camp (Head Clarinet Instructor) and Bands of America as an Assistant to the Director. Mr. Spivey-Hall is also the Founder and Owner of “The KLARIGARTEN”. The Studio has a full complement of Professional Musicians that travel and host Private Instrumental Music Classes for Brass, Woodwinds, and Percussion. My ultimate objective is to prepare students for All-State, Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony, Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, Metropolitan Atlanta Youth Wind Ensemble, and DeKalb Youth Symphony Orchestra auditions.
Also, Mr. Spivey-Hall has worked with the The National Black Arts Festival, VH-1 Save the Music Battle of the Bands, The Precision Incorporated Summer Band Camp, Bands of America, Radio One Dirty Awards, The Trumpet Awards, The Atlanta Clarinet Association, and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Talent Development Program, The 5 Arts Foundation, The Kilgore Music Foundation, The Georgia Music Industry Association, Music in the Park, and The TomorrowWorld Electronic Music Festival.
In addition to, he has also worked with the Atlanta Ballet, Atlanta Opera , Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, The Alliance Theatre, The High Museum, 14th Street Playhouse, and Young Audiences focusing on Education Outreach. T.C. was also the featured Clarinet Soloist in the 20th Century FOX Movie DRUMLINE and was the Principal Clarinetist for the X-BOX 360 Video game BCFX (Black college Football Experience).
Mr. Spivey-Hall is also the founder of the T.C. Spivey-Hall “CONCERTMASTER’S”, and the Neo International Clarinetist Expose, better known as N.I.C.E. The N.I.C.E. is a Global Clarinet Community of 2.300 World Class Clarinetist commited to making the world a better place by using ther instruments as an extension of their voice to incite change for the better in the world. Mr. Spivey-Hall’s belief is that with the right team, positive energy, and a lot of love, you can make the impossible possible.
